Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psalm 100
This year we had a hymn that accompanied our scripture theme. Can you guess what it is? If you guess hymn #230, you're right!

What a wonderful day we had! Not only was the sun shining (perfect for our scatter sunshine theme), but the Spirit was so strong throughout the day; our souls were inspired and joyful.
We
have pictures and as many class handouts as
we could get our hands on below.
Enjoy!

Lunch is
Served
We
had a WONDERFUL lunch prepared. We worked hard to ensure that not only was the food
delicious but it was also whole and nutritious. We also focused on accommodating the various food restrictions that many of our sisters live with.
We had gluten free, dairy free, sugar free and vegetarian options offered.
Special thanks to everyone who helped clean up and wash after lunch!

This year's service project was closer to home. Charlie and Branden's grandparents are members of the Firgrove Ward and we wanted to support this project in memory of their grandchildren.
Two Pierce County deputies had an idea when they found a picture of a dinosaur drawn by Charlie. They wanted to use the picture as a logo for a non-profit foundation to help foster children who they come into contact with. The plan is to provide backpacks to transport foster children’s personal possessions when they have to be moved from one foster home to another, and to provide them with their own brand new, not hand-me down, personal items to keep. With the Cox's permission they began the Charlie’s Dinosaur Project. Read more about the project.

To
help Charlie's Dinosaur Project provide for the children, we collected new items during our Woman's Conference. Below are some pictures of what our wonderful sisters donated. Thank you for your generosity.
I thoroughly enjoyed the womens conference. Each of the classes that I attended helped me on a personal level. I will definately attend the next conference that is scheduled. I could see all the work that went into the conference and appreciate the hours that each of the sisters gave to put it on. Thank you sincerely!
